A New Nose

February 2, 2009 By Mandy Walker

Many women respond to divorce by taking more care of themselves – it’s all part of rebuilding your self-esteem and taking charge of your life. Throughout more than 20 years of marriage, Mary wanted to get her nose “fixed.” She had broken it playing basketball in high school and it had bothered her ever since. Even though money was not an issue, she says her husband would not support her and saw no need for her to have surgery. So following her divorce, at the age of 49, with the support of her mother and her children, she got her new nose….. Listen to Mary’s story in her own words.

Is there something you’ve wanted to do for a long time and now you’ve decided to do it? Was there something you did to take better care of yourself?
