When Page Lambert ended her marriage it meant leaving the ranch in Wyoming where she had lived for twenty-five years. In the five years that followed she moved back to her childhood home in Colorado to take care of her failing mother and then to Sante Fe with her new partner. Along the way she developed a new perspective on relationships:
I think it’s so important that we finish one relationship before we begin another. I also think it’s wonderful to really understand that at different times in our lives we need different relationships and that some of the things we might yearn for and understand are critical to our happiness.
