When you’re struggling with your own marriage it’s very tempting to look at other couples and think they have it all figured out and even to wish your own marriage was more like theirs. The problem with that however is you have no idea what the marriage is really like. What’s visible on the outside is often very different from the what’s going on inside:
Sex started changing, he was angry a lot more, very impatient, short-tempered and instead of dealing with that, I started drinking more. We still went to parties and were entertaining so it was one of those marriages that had the outside facade that everything was good but I was confused on the inside and didn’t understand what was going on.
