Teenagers often feel embarrassed by their parents and as parents we might feel that there’s no good reason for that. But when it comes to divorced parents arguing in public, the kids have every right to feel embarrassed:

Kristi and her husband were married for 18 years and had three children. They lived in a small town, ran a business together, and their bitter divorce was gossip fodder for the town. Kristi knew her and her ex had to figure out how they to treat each other civilly when they were both attending their children’s events.
